Individual Therapy with Adults

Through individual therapy, I offer a safe, supportive relationship where you are able to resolve issues related to trauma, grief, attachment-related concerns, family dynamics, parenting stress, relationship challenges, identity-related concerns, depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation.

I utilize interpersonal support, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, narrative work, and attachment-related approaches in my therapy work.

I have also been trained in the use of the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) for clinical purposes through TCU, and I am able to complete an attachment evaluation and feedback report for you as an additional therapeutic service.

Couples and Family Therapy

Why is it that the very people we love the most in this world also sometimes get our emotional leftovers? I provide both couples and family therapy to help you find that place of felt safety and security in your dearest relationships again. This often requires helping you let go of the content of the arguments (that you probably know by heart now), break the dysfunctional patterns, and rebuild healthier communication and problem-solving.

An important piece of couples therapy will be to unpack the relationship templates that you each have brought into your relationship and to examine potential opportunities for restoring trust and laying down healthier relationship patterns.

I am open to including teens in family therapy; however, I do require that a separate individual therapist provide treatment for your teen if there are concerns about mental health stability. I have had extensive training in Multisystemic Family Therapy (MST), and I operate from a family systems and attachment-rich framework. I also integrate Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS) in my family therapy work.

Parenting Support

Sometimes kids have challenges — sometimes very big challenges. You cannot always make it a “smooth ride” for your children on the roller coaster of life. Yet, you can learn to be a steady, present, sensitive, responsive, consistent, and empathic caregiver.

I provide individual, family, and group sessions for parents where the focus will be on both support and skills-building. I utilize Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) curriculum. In addition, I integrate components from the Neurosequential Model, Polyvagal Theory, Circle of Security, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPS), and attachment-based techniques.

I have been trained in the use of the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) for clinical purposes through TCU, and I am able to complete an attachment evaluation and feedback report as an additional therapeutic service for a parent/caregiver.

I love partnering with other TBRI practitioners in the community for co-facilitation of groups and trainings for parents, educators, and caregivers.
